Dedicated to All My friends who sat with me over the last year when the shit hit the fan & splashed on everything I touched. Thank you for being present, for holding me and crying with me. Thank you for challenging my stubbornness and desire to run from everything that hurt. Finding the balance between holding your frineds accountable, allowing them to be adults and wanting whats best is hard as hell as adults.
This song was made in the thick of figuring life out. I had friends who gave me ultimatums and ones who gave me grace. Others who left. Some who’ve stayed over 20 years, others 10 some I just met in the last 2 who feel like family. All i know is i wouldn’t have survived without them.
